The Amazing Journey of Photographer David Margules
The 9/11 Aftermath in Pictures

David Margules' stirring pictorial, "From Dust til Dawn" is a 120 page photographic essay of the aftermath to the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, which remains a travesty beyond all understanding.

  • "It's been over 4 years since the 11th of September. It still feels like yesterday. What happened that day and the days that followed are still very vivid in my mind. The rescue and recovery effort showed me that the goodness in people will always outshine the evil in people. That is what I draw from to keep a positive outlook on life after all the destruction of that lifechanging day. David's photos are the best at capturing all the pain, destruction and hopelessness of the collapse of the World Trade Center."

  • "Having been assigned to the GPS Unit at Ground Zero for three months, it's difficult to put into words the work done by the Task Force in the rescue and recovery of the victims. Yet through the lens of his camera, David was able to capture the dedication and determination the firefighters had ... making sure every victim was found."
